Thank you to all the food professionals who stopped by our booth at the Star Chefs International Chefs Congress. Among those who signed our petition to ban fracking in New York State:  Kevin Lasko of Park Avenue Autumn; David Waltuck, the longtime culinary power behind Chanterelle, and now executive corporate chef for Ark Restaurants; and Meredith Kurtzman of Otto Enoteca Pizzeria. We also got some out-of-towners to sign on: folks who understand that fracking near farms in an agricultural powerhouse state like New York is bad news for the food industry.
