Celebrated photographer J Henry Fair has traveled the country, photographing landscapes that have been affected by the relentless pursuit of fossil fuels. Among his subjects: the tilled fields and rolling hills that lie atop the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania, where fracking is allowed. He has given us permission to share his photographs from time to time, some of which can be found in his book The Day After Tomorrow: Images of Our Earth in Crisis. Please support our upstate farmers by writing to Governor Cuomo to tell him that you want to protect their farms and their livelihood from fracking!
